I expressed my observations through three mediums, writing , photography and paintings. Exhibiting for the show two of them. While I was there, I took the time to go to the streets to look, listen and feel what was there. With my camera and sketchbook in hand I recorded it. Getting a real chance to capture a More Authentic Cuba.

Just LIVIN project
In September I sent a call out for photo submissions for the "Just living" photo project. The project's intention was to receive and exhibit photography on the theme " Just Living." What did this word mean to you in your life and how would you describe it in imagery. It was a great success for a few reasons. I left it without a boundary on skill level of the photographer. So I welcomed anyone from novice to advanced. I also left it limitless with the subject matter as it was really up to the viewer what being alive look like or perhaps even felt like for them. In the end I received over 45 images. Exhibiting for viewing on October 2nd. I also asked for people to submit brief stories or descriptions of their photos if they wanted to. I think it was important to tell a bit about why you chose that photo. The community of Project Vivant became that much bigger with the idea of leaving things more inclusive to all then exclusive to a few.
