PERCEPTION
On Nov 14th-17th, I had the pleasure to host, curate and participate in an 4 day pop up artistic event called PERCEPTION. With the amazing help of a collective of talented artists and friends the show was a success and a beautiful experience. Each artist giving the viewer a glimpse of their unique visions and perceptions on life. I want to thank all the participating artists Nils Fluck, Sharif Mirshak, Christian Pomerleau ,Hugues Letellier François Guinaudeau ,Mustafa Hacalaki, Noé Sardet, Mauricio de sierra, Christopher "puma" Smith, for contributing your work, efforts and time into making this a realization.
Thank you Arkin Nikra and Caroline Côté for sharing your creative process over a live interview and presentation of your work. I am truly inspired by both of you and your drive and passion to create and live this life to the fullest. Both process talks were recorded, and will be placed a podcast in the future.
Thank you Mustafa Hacalaki & Victor Millette for helping me in documenting the 4 days. Thank you Stéphane Cocke for the curated music and installing Telepoeme into this event.
Thank you, the viewers and community who came to the event over the 4 days. Your support to the arts matters and is appreciated.
Finally thank you to all who helped me in putting this together, (hanging, graphics, lighting, promotion) from an concept to the finishing product. It was an insightful and special experience to work with you all through this creative process. I looked forward to what the next collaborations could hold. Please stay tuned as proposals for the next pop up event are already in the works.
Thank you Casa Bianca Bed & Breakfast, for allowing me to close out 8 years of work with under this roof by holding this creative event there. Looking forward to what 2020 has in store for creation in places and spaces.
PERCEPTION- Exhibited in Casa Bianca Bed & Breakfast - Nov 14th-17th
Closing remarks and a guided silent mindful walk through the PERCEPTION gallery and Casa. The intention was set to walk through the gallery one last time by candlelight in silence. Perceiving each image as they are, in the present moment. Thank you to all those who participated in this beautiful walk.
